I am using sph method to model compression of a composite whose inclusion is made by spherical particles meshed by C3D10 elmemnts and matrix is conversed into sph particles. After the simulation ran for hours, it was aborted and reported the error: Abaqus/explicit rank 5 encountered segmentation fault. Error type: Explicit. There is no other error reported. What causes the error?
