Hi,

I have a data file in which there is an enriched zone defined by << *INITIALCONDITIONS, TYPE=ENRICHMENT>>. I searched this keyword in user assistance and there are five data lines that should be defined for this keyword which I add the screenshots below. For this example the first data line is element number and the third data line is fracture defined in the model. My question is that:

1- I don't understand how to define data lines 2, 4 and 5. Are there 8 rows for data line 2 in this example because there are 8 nodes for this element ( element 1235)? If so, I have no idea how to define data lines 4 and 5 for each node.

2- I use "Abaqus cae> interaction module>create interaction>XFEM crack growth" to define enriched zone in my model but I get the warning in the fourth screenshot that I attach below (warning: failed to locate crack tip).
