Hi,

Right now I want to perform modal analysis for e-powertrain analysis, and there's damper connect with powertrain and chassis.

I checked help of Abaqus, it seems I have two choose:

1. dashpot with damping setting
2. connector element (conn3d2) with damping property.

So my question is:

1. What's the difference between above two type damping settings? Which one I should select?
2. Can I consider non-linear performance in damping setting for modal analysis?
