Hello all,
I have a cylindrical part consisting of layers that are merged to basically create partitions. I have coupled the nodes of the top layer to a reference node and applied a moment to that reference node, only allowing rotation about the z-axis, setting rotation about x and y to zero. I would also like to set the displacement to zero for this node so that the only degree of freedom that the upper layer has is rotation about the z-axis. If I do this when I apply the coupling constraint (see pic) will this be the correct way to restrict the degrees of freedom so that only rotation in the z-axiz is allowed? Any help would be appreciated!
Kind regards,
RP
