Hello Abaqus users,

I'm still working on the cabinet that I posted last time...

I wonder what is the best way to see air flow considering different heat sources in the cabinet such as CPU, router and power supplier.

I've done CFD with Abaqus 2016, but it looks impossible to add heat sources for the CFD.

That's why I'm sticking on Co-simulation of CFD and Temp-disp analysis. But I have difficulties to resolve errors from the temp-disp analysis.

What could be the best analysis option in this case?

I found out it is able to set thermal energy(temperature) as a predefined condition if I select temperature flow in flow step window.

However, the thermal energy condition doesn't let me choose a certain surface as a heat source. It forces me to select the whole body

One more thing...the thermal energy condition takes element sets only. Is there a way to convert geometric set to element set?
