Hi all,

First time user of Abaqus CAE...required for a university class I'm taking. Very unsure of how everything works so far.

Have followed my lecturers example of loading a basic input file (attached) but am getting an error when submitting the job or data checking.

Not sure if matters but when I start Abaqus CAE it opens two windows...one is the graphical interface and one looks like a command window however I cannot type anything. Is this normal?

Sorry for the questions but I'm a bit lost and can't get answers from the teaching team until next week. I've searched online but have not seen this issue yet.
