I just installed Abaqus CAE 2019. We had previously been using 2017. When I open a model from 2017 I get the "Need to convert message" and the conversion does not produce any errors but the converted model will not display. BTW, I am not an Abaqus user. I am just the software installer. Thanks for any suggestions.
