Abaqus - Boundary condition of lap joint does not hold true

Hello helper,

I have simple three-row, one-column lap joint model. The boundary condition of the left end is "Fixed end", no displacement, no rotation. I run into some issues when setting up the boundary condition of the right end to simulate tensile loading.

When I use displacement control to apply the tensile loading, only a small displacement in X is applied. The boundary condition of the right end remains zero displacements in Y and Z, and zero rotation in X, Y and Z. The deformed shape in results shows up correctly, as figure 1.

When I use force control, a force is applied at the right end. The boundary condition of the right end also remains zero displacements in Y and Z, and zero rotation in X, Y and Z. However, the deformed shape in results shows the right end has a rotation around Y-axis, as figure 2.

Why my BC (zero rotation) at the right end failed when I apply a load? Please advise.
