Hi Good Evening to all...

                                            I am just practicing a problem on  two plates with a bolt load, CIRCULAR PLATE with 5mm thick, Bolt length=10mm

STEP= Static General,TIME PERIOD= 0.001, MAX NO. OF INCRE=100000, INITIAL= 0.0001, MIN= 1e-8, Max=0.0001 and also with

STEP= Static General,TIME PERIOD= 0.001, MAX NO. OF INCRE=100000, INITIAL= 1e-5, MIN= 1e-10, Max=0.0001

LOAD= Bolt load, TYPE= Adjust length, MAGNITUDE= -0.01

The error am getting is "TOO MANY ATTEMPTS MADE FOR THIS INCREAMENT", so can any one let me know what is the possible error m doing in modeling this problem.

After this i want to introduce a gasket between this plates, between plate and gasket i want to give glue, so how to model this GLUE contact in abaqus.
