Hi,
I just started to use Abaqus 2022 after using Abaqus 2019 for a while. I ran the same model with the same VUMAT in Abaqus explicit 2022 but my state variables were not saved into the .odb file. My output request in my input file is
*Element Output, elset=CHARGE-1.CHARGE, directions=YES
S, SDV1, SDV2, SDV3, SDV9.
The .dat file shows " ***WARNING: OUTPUT REQUEST SDV1 IS NOT A VALID COMPONENT FOR SOME ELEMENTS IN THIS MODEL"
I looked at the documentation for the VUMAT for any change from 2019 to 2022 and didn't find anything suspicious. I also look at *element output. It also does not seems to be the issue. Please let me know what other things could have caused the issue.
