Hi all,
I would like to use an external Abaqus solver on the 3DExperience Platform, because for some simulations I need a certain solver version. I intend to do this via the Preferences -> Common Solve -> Use an External Abaqus Solver option.
However, when I set the path to the external Abaqus Solver (the solver is from my local Abaqus CAE installation), i get the following error message:
Is it not intended to use an external Abaqus solver, that is of an older version than the one on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform? Or is it possible to use an older version and I am doing something wrong here?
