Hi,

I am hoping to simulate an impact between a falling object and a rigid anvil. I need to simulate the inertial values of the falling object, as well as finding out the rotational accelerations associated with a lateral impact between the object and the anvil.

I am currently quite inexperienced with this type of analysis and i am struggling to find any good examples to learn from. If anyone has a text or a recommended video series that may be of some benefit me i would be very grateful.
