Hello everyone, anyone here familiar with using Abaqus CAE for 3D geomechanical modeling?
I have a dataset consists of coordinates (X, Y, Z) and pore pressure. I'd like to make a time-dependent pore pressure modeling using Abaqus CAE. One of the information sources says that I need to convert my X, Y, Z coordinates to the Abaqus Node ID. However, the values of X, Y, Z generated by Abaqus along with the Node ID (utilizing Query window) seems not really represent the original coordinates of my pore pressure data. Is there any other way to get the Node ID that can represent the values of my original X, Y, Z coordinates?
Besides that, I've also tried to create pore pressure load using a self-defined Distribution by choosing "Mapped Field" type and I've called the relevant .txt file as well. However, after I continued that way, the software still required me to input the "Magnitude". I am a bit confused of what should I input there as I have attached a dataset consists of X, Y, Z, and pore pressure values yet it kept asking me to input the "Magnitude". What should I input by then?
I would very thankful if there is someone who is willing to give enlightenment of what I'm going through at the moment and would really appreciate any help.
Thank you very much in advance.
