Hello everyone,

I am modelling a 3-point bending test in Abaqus/CAE. The specimen is a solid (concrete-like) part, and I model the two supports (S1, S2) and the loading head as discrete rigid plates (40 mm bearing width) with a Reference Point (RP) for each.

I am confused about which option(s) I should use when defining the constrains ? Tie , rigid body, pin, analytical rigid or what should i use ?
