I am doing some work with raw materials and I considered a workflow that would work well but seems to be restricted. It seems like you cannot create a part that is deformed from a Raw Material even though you can set a raw material as deformable. I think this issue crosses over between CATIA and ENOVIA but I thought I would check here first.
I want any parts 'derived' from the raw material to inherit the EIN or the original Deformable object. This is where the Deformed/Deformable workflow comes in, but it seems you can only create parts/products that are deformed from other parts and products, not Raw Materials. This doesn't make sense as the Raw Material would have an EIN assigned and I want that EIN maintained for everything made out of the RM. If I have to use another Part/Product, it cannot share the same EIN as the Raw Material.
A typical use case would be lengths of hose.
