Objective:

Allow Manufacturing Team to edit Evolution effectivity on MBOM Items using Manufacturing Plan after releasing the linked Model Version from Design Team.

Problem Statement:

3DEXPERIENCE is not allowing the Manufacturing Team to edit Evolution effectivity on MBOM Items unless all Model Versions are set to “In-Work” or “In-Design”

This issue is not applied only for the Model Version linked directly to the Manufacturing Plan, but also is applied to a previous model version that don’t even have any Manufacturing Plan linked to it.

Example:

Referring to the figure below it is not possible to edit Evolution effectivity on MBOM Items using “MP A”, unless both “MV B” and “MV A” are both set to “In-Work” or “In-Design”
