Currently using 2022 FD02 - Question: Is there any possibility to attach only a file to a physical product, rather than a document.

Scenario - I have software source code files, and I want to be able to insert these files into a physical product so that I don't need to manage a document and physical product in parallel with one another.

Currently, we have the document which is inserted as a "Specification Document" but this requires managing the document object and the physical product.

If there is no means to attach just a file to a physical product without using a document object, are there any other methods I can use to reduce the churn of managing software code as an inserted specification document of the physical product.
