I'm writing to have your experience on the performance of IEF with SolidWorks integration.

We have notices two mains and major issues linked to the display of files in File Explorer or SolidWorks session. As this is a mandatory step to open objects in SolidWorks, we are very impacted by these two issues:

1) We have noticed that the performance degrades significantly when we add additional files to a folder.Time (Seconds) to use Windows Explorer and browse to that folder increase almost linearly depending the number of files (with 250 files, it takes 5s to display, with 750, it takes 15s). Same ratio in SolidWorks session.

For information, it is expected at the end of the migration process (end of 2018), to have between 10'000-15'000 files in the same folder.

2) The performances ratio between sites is huge. As an example, the performance in Italy are at least 3x slower compared to Switzerland (where our main infrastructure is located) during periods of very low activity on the sites. During a day, performance continues to degrade with a ratio up to 10x.
