I am curious how others handle the maturity state for linked CAD objects in their engineering BOMs. One common use case we have would be a machined post processing of a cast part. The body in the cast part will be published and pasted with link into a new part that will represent the final machined part. Currently, the machined part could be on a CA and released before the cast part is finalized and realized. Is there any automation to check for the maturity state of linked data during the promotion? It seems like this may be possible with a business rule, but I haven't looked into it yet. Is this something that others are not concerned with or are you relying on process and manual checks to ensure that a "child" item is not released first?
