With the tools now bringing many of the domains together to form full systems definitions that include both hardware and software we need to better understand testing of each and both to fully test provided products.  Will ENOVIA host testing repository functions like HP Quality Center / Quick Test Pro / Simulation to a point were products are fully tested in the digital environment before the first product is built? 

An automobile for example has in the past had only a few electrical systems.  Today major manufactures are moving to evolve the driving experience with new power trains, navigation, entertainment systems.  In order to avoid costumers having having less than optimal experiences with the new systems testing will be critical.  Management of this testing will play a roll in certifying these new products.

How will CAA custom functions be tested when a company extends the basic nature of CATIA, DELMIA, ENOVIA, etc?  Will the tools be open for designers to create tests to show failures that can be replayed by developers?
