I really like the concept, it seems like a powerful tool, but the classification information feels difficult to access for the average user.

With definition libraries, attributes show up directly in the main properties panel of an object, which makes them easy to use. But for items classified in a categorization library, the information feels buried. The only way I’ve found to access it is by opening the library itself and searching for the part there.

For example: if an engineer opens part ABC and wants to know whether it has passed qualification test XYZ, there’s no way to see that in the item information panel. They’d have to go into the library browser and search for the part. There is a “Classification” tab in the info panel, but it only seems to appear while browsing a library.

Has this changed in more recent releases? (We’re currently on 24x FD03.) Or am I missing something key that would make the categorization library more usable?
