The deformable/deformed part data model is excellent (Yay, we can finally model cable ties!). However, it seems like I'm not able to view a deformed part's inherited EIN when in a client app like Product Structure Design or Assembly Design. 

I can view it in most webapps, like Engineering Release and Product Structure Explorer. And when I use the "Set Enterprise Item Number" command in the client, I do see that the inherited EIN displays correctly (in italics, as well). It just doesn't show up in the spec tree display.

I looked through Preferences to see if there was a hint (in Spec Tree > Display Name Customization, e.g.), but I couldn't find anything.

Perhaps this is queued up for a future FD enhancement to the deformable/deformed display, too.

In the meantime, how are y'all viewing deformed part EINs in the client? Any thoughts or tips?
