After reading about the enhancement in 2024xFD03 I was trying to drag STEP files from a local drive into 3Dplay.as described in the release notes at the bottom of this post..
I was hoping that I would be able to open STEP203 and STEP214 files this way as well, but received the following error messages
Is this intentional?I don't have any problems when opening a STEP file in 3DPlay from a Bookmark or 3DDrive.
But this may be different when opening from a local drive.
Can we expect these other STEP formats to be supported in a future release not too long from now?
Our intention is to use 3Dplay to give production staff access to 3Dmodels both from inside and outside the platform.
It would be really convenient when we don't need other viewers to view the local STEP files.
