Is there a way to change revision naming in parts based on attribute information?

Example scenario should be as follows;

- Setting custom attribute and choosing 2 multiple choice options. Let one of the options be Option1 and the other be Option2.
- When I select Option1, I want the revision naming to proceed as in the 1st option in the Revision Naming Rules section in the picture below.
-When I choose Option2 as the attribute, I want the revision naming to proceed as in the 2nd option.

Do I need to script a rule for this? Can you help me? Is such a thing possible?
