Can someone explain the difference between a Branch and a Duplicate in Collaborative Lifecycle? I can see they have a different color designation in the Graph/Tree, but functionally, I can't tell the difference. Second question: Is there a way to duplicate a physical product so that it DOES NOT show up in the Collab Lifecycle history of the object it was copied from? The use case here is I have a Physical Product, then I want to create a copy of that Product (perhaps to modify as a completely new part number) but I don't want it to retain the lifecycle history of the object it was copied from. I want it to be the START of a new lifecycle history. Is there a way to do this besides exporting 3dxml and reimporting?
