I am looking for the best practice while importing CATIA V5 CAD design in 3DEXPERIENCE Platform sent by the suppliers/customers.

The design work is done entirely outside (suppliers) or the final data sent by the customers. In this scenario, imagine that data always comes from outside. No modification is done inside.

Scenario:

• First save
  1- The supplier/customer sends cad data
  2- Open CATIA V5 and connect to the platform
  3- Open the CAD data in CATIA V5 and save it to the platform.

   

• Modified data from the supplier/customer.

4- The supplier/customer sends modified cad data.

5- Open the CAD data in CATIA V5 from the folder

6- You will notice the data shown as New. No connection with previously saved data.
