When assigning an Enterprise Item Number (EIN) in SOLIDWORKS you need at least 5 clicks:
- Tools
- Set Enterprise Item Number
- Select object
- Request Enterprise Item Number
- Set
We only use a single formula and manual entry is not allowed. Therefore, this feels like 4 unecessary clicks. You could even go a step further and automatically assign an EIN on creation of the object. What is your opinion regarding this?
