So I open up DS today to finish up a drawing that I am supposed to send out this morning and get an error message stating that my Activation is expired.

No warnings.  No means of reactivating the software.

Searching through the iQuestions turns up lots of references and links to the same short list of answers on how to activate the software for the first time, but nothing on how to reactivate it.  Spent 3 hours trying to figure this out before giving up, crossing my fingers and reinstalling the software with the hopes that it does not eat my preferences settings.

How do you reactivate the software without having to reinstall?

The issue was reported over 7 months ago.  Why isn't it fixed yet?
