i was happy to find Draftsight for mac as I had been looking for a  Mac cad solution.  I know it is a beta version, but thought it was suitable for my use.  I recently downloaded and have been using the windows version today.

WOW what a difference!  So  much easier to use.  I hate to admit it, but prefer the windows version to the mac version.  Particularly the toolbars.  They dock and behave much better.  And i just don't get the floating toolbars and the drawing area that goes below the toolbars etc. 

So is it a matter of the operating system in mac not allowing certain behaviors or are there not any mac programmers interested in developing cad software?
