I installed DraftSight 2026 on my Windows 11 system, but the application consistently causes the entire system to freeze. When this happens, Ctrl+Alt+Del is unresponsive, and the only recovery option is a forced shutdown using the power button.

I attempted a full uninstall using MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta and then reinstalled DraftSight 2026, but the issue persists. The freezes occur during different actions, such as dimensioning, changing layers, or opening a DWG file from an email.

I have now uninstalled DraftSight 2026 and reverted to DraftSight 2024, which continues to run without any issues. I will wait for an update or service pack for the 2026 release before attempting to install it again.
