Why do I see graphics issue with DraftSight when displaying on external monitors?

This behavior may occur when your machine has the mother board graphics card IntelR and your the external e.g. NVIDIA are both enabled on the machine , and the IntelR card is out dated. to confirm and resolve the issue , you can try the following:

1. close all DraftSight sessions

2. go to Device Manager > Display adapters > right-click IntelR >Disable

3. start DraftSight , see if the issue is resolved , if yes , this means DraftSight is using IntelR graphics card , especially if it is the default graphics card. by disabling the card you forced DraftSight to use the NVIDIA card.

4. close DraftSight again

5. go back to Device Manager > Display adapters> right-click IntelR >Enable > right-click IntelR>Update Driver Software..

6. After the update is finished , start DraftSight again and the issue should be resolved.
