ANSWER:

1) As posted in the DraftSight download site

 http://www.3ds.com/products/draftsight/download-draftsight/ - there are Linux beta versions of

• Ubuntu
• Fedora
• Suse
• Mandriva.

2)  Only those Linux versions are supported.

3)  Is Linux architecture of 64bit supported?  No, not at this time.
