We have been evaluating Draftsight on both V1.3 & V1.4 and a similar problem with our multi-tray printer (Canon C5051) as some other users that I have seen on this support forum.  Here is a description of our printer setup.

We have our letter size in portriat orientation in "Tray 1" for special paper type, 11x17 in landscape orientation in "Tray 3", and a large capacity paper tray in portiat orientation for letter size in "Tray 5".  The print driver is typically configured for automatic tray selection so when something is printed in letter size it goes to the "Tray 5" and when 11x17 is printed it prints from "Tray 3".

Draftsight seems to always want to print from "Tray 1" period.  Even if I change the print driver so only "Tray 2" or "Tray 5" can be used, Draftsight still wants to print to "Tray 1".  To me it appears that Draftsight does not account for the use of Multi-tray printers or there is a bug someware.  From what I can tell this is not one of the print config line that can be set in my print config files.

The result we are experiancing causes letter size to print on our special paper in "Tray 1" and when printing 11x17 an error occurs on the printer.  With the 11x17 error, the user needs to rush to the printer to manually select the proper tray on the error screen.  Otherwise someone else may hit ok trying to fix the error and prints on a letter size, causing the user to reprint and do the rush to the printer again.

As you can see this isn't the most efficiant way of dealing with this issue.  If there is a fix for this that I'm just not understanding, someone please provide.  Otherwise, I hope this is something Draftsight is looking into since my users are looking for some resolution or assurance it will be fixed.
