Vertical Spacing of Text

We use DraftSight to create electrical wiring diagrams. Our lines are always spaced by 0.2000.   The grid is set to 0.2000 and the snap to 0.0500.

In AutoCAD LT, we used a grid spacing on 0.2000.  For the text, we were using ROMANS with a height of 0.1235.  When we entered Dtext or DT, the vertical spacing of each line of text would match the grid spacing.

In DraftSight V1R5 x 64, I have tried numerous settings, including text height and changing the Active TextStyle.  By the time I enter to the third line of text, the text will no longer align to the grid.  Can anyone help with this?

Example.  Command Line: Type dtext or DT

SIMPLENOTE

Active TextStyle: "Standard" Text height: 0.1235

Specify start position: J (for justify)

Specify Option: MC (for middle center)

Specify position: Click on the grid for the start position.

Specify Height:  Enter (default is already set to 0.1235, I have changed this to various values)

Specify Text Angle: Enter (default is already set to 0)

Type text Enter

Type second line of text, etc.

Line 1  Starting point on the grid

Line 2  Is properly spaced vertically to grid spacing of 0.2000

Line 3  Starts to be less that the grid spacing, and decreases with every line entered.
