I have installed draftSight V1R5.1 on ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS 64 bits. To do this I removed dependency from xdg-utils from draftSight.deb. Then I installed ia32-libs  and libdirectfb-extra.

DraftSight now launches, allows create new drawing, at least allows to draw polyline and save new file. But it doesn't allow to open any .dwg file even just created by itself. The error message is: "Cannot open the specified drawing file. Verify that the file exists". After showing the message it opens the "Open" Dialog with the list containing that very file.

It seems that something very little is missing. Probably some library. I use draftSight for a half of year on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 32bit. It works rather good. Now I have to install DS on another notebook (hope it will work even faster ;-). Can anybody help?
