Is there a setting of some kind that I do not have set correctly? My old draftsight was working fine and now this version not panning smoothly and the note command drags and will cause the program to crash.

When I pan and/or zoom the view it is very jumpy,glitchy... it moves in increments instead of moving smoothly.

I pan,zoom, and rotate in solidworks 2014 and I have no problems and my old version of Draftsight seemed to run fine but this latest version is S-L-O-W to zoom.

My experience with crashing when using the NOTE (ACAD Mtext) is that the programs seems to be struggling with the notes. It is slow there is a time delay between backspacing and typing or pretty much any key command while in the text editor is causing the program to crash randomly. I end up typing a little then exiting the editor to save the line or two that I typed this adding time to my drawings.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
