To all,

I edited an existing titleblock with attributes that will include the standard items from the Drawing Properties (i.e., Title and Author) plus custom properties ( I created Customer and CustomerAdd).

The items appear in the Default field selection. and I selected them.

When I insert the Titleblock into a new drawing, the fields that represent items from the Drawing Properties display "OBJ" in a dotted box.

How do I use these? I really want to use the Drawing Properties to populate the titleblock automatically.

Update:

I do not think that this is the right solution but I discovered that if I created the attribute from scratch, there is no problem. If I then go in and decide to change the Default to something else, the field does not update and displays "OBJ" when inserted.

So I went through the Titleblock and changed all the affected attributes and it is working as expected.

As I said, not the right solution....
