We have been using AutoCAD for our plant layout needs. I am evaluating going to DraftSight but when I open a DraftSight created .dwg file in AutoCAD it thinks the file was from a Student version of AutoCAD and includes a message on any plot file. I ask because we do share our layouts occasionally with architect firm that uses AutoCAD. Any ideas/suggestions? I will shortly sign up for the 30-day trial of DraftSight Pro to see if it has the same problem. I will re-post with my results.
