Unable to successfully implement Hotfix

I have brought this issue up several times before in the past week or so and thought it had been corrected but apparently not.  The level of frustration in attempted to correct the problem has be a real challenge and has consumed a lot of valuable time.

Received several email reminders from DraftSight of the Critical Hotfix required to avoid usage interruption.

I attempted to obtain help with implementing this fix and received a machine generated response that included a link to the very same page of the Critical Hotfix download.  To make things more challenging it included a note in the body of the email to “PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THE EMAIL”.  No help to the question I had submitted just a referral to the Hotfix link.

My first request for clarification was in regards to a continued dialog box that opened each time I launched the program reminding me it will only be good for 30 days.  I made mention that I had a valid license with “Activation Key Number” and I was still getting this reminder.

Once again, I received a response to my email directing me to the Critical Hotfix PDF.  After following the instructions, I never received the feedback that “Your products have been successfully patch”

I again responded with screen shots for the dialog box feedback I was receiving, nothing that was noted in the PDF Guide.

I then get directed to the DraftSight community where you are supposedly can “Ask a Question”.  Couldn’t get anywhere with that either.

I responded by informing the reader that this is where I started and all I managed to do was go around in circles with no solution to my problem in sight.

On one occasion, I stated that the 2017 DraftSight icon appears on the desktop but was still receiving the dialog box message noting that my license is only good for 30 days.

The response from DraftSight was a screen shot of a response I should have received while downloading the latest and greatest version, except one problem I could not read the image.  Enlarging the image just made it more difficult to read.

Next response from DraftSight surmised that after all the different machinations I must have installed the free version of DraftSight.  I don’t know how that could have happened because during installation a dialog box welcomed me to the DraftSight 2017 SP0 x64 Installation Wizard which instructed me to “Choose the license type to use for this product:” which were Professional with the appropriate and valid Activation Key number already entered.

My response to that email was I believed at the time that everything appeared to be corrected.  After a short while the software developed a new issue.  This time after launching the software you could work your drawing for about a minute or so and then it stopped functioning and would not allow the operator to do anything except close the program.  What every work was accomplished up to that point in time was lost because there was no opportunity to save the work.

Next I received a new email informing me that DraftSight 2017 SP1 was available and that I should install it which is something that I thought had already been completed.  I deleted it once again and in the deletion process it clearly indicates that the 2017 SP1 x64 edition was being deleted.
