Trouble with Printstyles in DraftSight

Currently evaluating DraftSight for use by my company.  I was fairly pleased and ready to recommend this software, but have encountered a problem that may prevent adopting DraftSight.

My application is specifically for maintaining legacy cad, as we are using Solidworks for new work going forward. Our legacy cad files make heavy use of color attributes, and are coming into DraftSight with ‘color-dependent print styles’ for Default print settings enabled. As we need to be able to print our drawing revisions to pdf in black on white, this print setting needs to be changed.

I spent quite  a bit of time sorting through pages of iQuestions, and found one that describes a fix for this situation using the CONVERTPRINTSTYLES command.

When  I tried using CONVERTPRINTSTYLES, I was presented with the following stb files: Color, default, MONO, and monochrome. I tried selecting each of them in turn, and got an error stating that " ____ does not contain a color mapping table and cannot be used to convert drawings. Select a different named plot style table."

I hope there is a fix for this issue. I really want to use this software, but I am working with files that are defaulting to color printing and I HAVE to be able to output to black on white pdf.

Any advice or assistance would be very much appreciated.
