My cursor suddenly started lagging in the drawing window of Draftsight 2022 to the point of being unusable. This doesn't happen when I'm dragging a selection box, only when a mouse button is not being pressed. The lag does NOT occur in the other parts of the application, nor does it occur in any other applications, including Solidworks 2022 and other graphics-heavy software like DaVinci Resolve or Blender.

I checked all drivers for updates, as well as checking Draftsight for updates as well. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Draftsight, which provided no improvement. I checked the system requirements, and I believe I meet or exceed all recommended stats: Intel Core i7-4770 @3.4, 16 GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4600 with 2GB RAM running OpenGL 4.3 (the weakest link in the chain, I know), Windows 10 OS.

Are there any settings I can change to rectify this problem? My work depends heavily on Draftsight, and this is seriously frustrating me and slowing me down.

UPDATE: I tried the suggestions listed above and below, in addition to some other things. I ended up formatting the drive and reinstalling Windows, and so far so good. Thanks for the help.
