Trim command still seems to be very slow once you are working in a drawing with a fair amount of detail (unless you pre-select cutting edges).

You can work on the same drawing in AutoCAD and the performance is far faster - in fact I don't think there is a noticeable difference between either method in AutoCAD, but plenty of difference between the two in DraftSight. 

Is there an intention to improve this trim performance, this is one thing that users at the company I work at have really complained about and I'm sure it would be the same in other companies.

Its almost as if AutoCAD is only looking a what is visible on the screen at the time the trim is being made - but DraftSight is always looking at the entire drawing.
