Just installed DraftSight on a Mac, running Os X 10.6.4. DS seemed to download and install fine. I opened up DS, but when I shut it down, the toolbars did not close with the rest of the program, so I had to close them manually, one by one. When I restarted DS, they were gone. All that comes up is the Graphics Area and the main Menu Bar up at the top of the screen ( in usual Mac fashion). I can't find a way to turn the toolbars back on.
I deleted the whole program and re-downloaded it, but I get the same no-toolbar result.
I'm very new to CAD programs like this (I've used Excel for my drawing needs for decades), and am also new to the Mac. I just gotta be missing something VERY obvious here...
Thanks - Bob
Later... ?After some random hacking, I found Windows-Palletes-ToolMatrix gets you one, big, honkin' toolbar that includes commands from Standard, Draw, Modify, and EntitySnap. I think I'm back in business, at least for a while.
