I am going to try this again. I asked the question once, but this will be in more detail. First, it is not an isolated event, it is something that has happened on multiple computers and on files I created on one computer and moved to another, also on files that I receive from other sources.
The text is to long. By that, it seems stretched. It isn't something that jumps out at me or bothers me per se. What happens is, where text use to fit in a frame it extends beyond the edges. Where it is like a table and there are several lines that are each treated as a separate entity, the text from one line will wrap because it no longer fits in the original line, and then I have overlapping text lines or it covers some other aspect of the drawing. It isn't something that happens with only one font, I have observed it with several fonts, including Arial and Simplex. The only "fix" I have found is to enter the edit text box and change the width from what is usually 1 to a smaller number. I have seen a case where it was too wide even though the width in this block was already set down to .8. I can't really tell if the width is created by extra spacing between the letters or stretching but I think it is stretching. I believe this happens to every drawing I use, but I can't be sure. I am a novice user, so I don't mess with a lot of settings that I could have screwed up. It even happens in blocks. I have a Logo block that I made and now the text lines are all jumbled. I am at my whits end. I really need some help with this issue.
I don't really know what else to say about this can anyone suggest something or ask me for more observation. I find it really hard to believe no one else has observed this as I don't throw any switches that would cause it.
