It appears that there is some sort of problem with changing the justification of multi-line text if you attempt to do so using while using in place text editing.

The text will appear to move while the edit is in progress, but has soon as you press the tick button to end the edit the text reverts back to its original alignment.

However, if you use NOTEOPTIONS to switch the dialogue box on for the editing of text there appears to be no problem with changing the alignment of the text.
