choose the line tool

click the page with the cross hairs in any random place on the screen i wanted to start

then input the line info e.g. 100<0 for a line of 100mm in length from the place i had clicked in the direction of the x axis (0 degrees).

this method still works fine on my laptop running draft sight for windows that has not been changed for over a year, i have also made the setting the same on both machines to no avail.

now when i click the page with the cross hairs in the position i want to start from and then input the dimension and direction i have to enter the @ sign before the command e.g.@100<0 to get it to drawer a line, how do i make the @ part automatic like on my laptop and older versions of draft sight ?

how do i put this back to as it was before?
