Hello, my previous experience is in SWorks. I am using draftsight for large (kilometer scale) 2D layouts. I would like to be able to update layouts as customer requirements change. This might include changing distances between repeating elements in the layout.

Ideally I would have a layer that acts as a control sketch, and then other layers with the physical elements of the layout. The control layer could be updated, and 'drive' the physical layer.... Is this possible in draftsight? It would require: 1/ ability to change length of lines smartly, 2/ links between layers.

If the above idea is not possible, what is best practice for fast updating of geometry?

AutoCAD has some parametric abilities. Obviously it is also more expensive. Any idea if this is a future feature for DSight?
