In AutoCAD I was able to use a plugin dobylayer.vlx from http://www.dotsoft.com/freestuff.htm to set the draw order of all entities by their layers. 

This is particularly useful for me as I have many entities that must always be behind other ones and I arrange for this by drawing them on appropriately named layers. Is there any way of doing this in DraftSight other than Smart Selecting the layers one at a time and sending to the front or back? It would be nice to have an automated way to do this.
