After many trial and errors, and googling everything that pertains to my problem, I found my own solution.

I am running Windows 10, with a NVidia Quadro P620 graphics card. My DraftSight was running so slow that I was looking for a replacement program.

This is what I did:

Right click on DraftSight icon, properties, compatibility, uncheck Run this program in compatibility for.

Then I disabled my graphics card.

Wow!!! My DraftSight is running like it did when it was free!!
