One of our clients uses Draftsight on their network, recently we have replaced some of their older PC’s with ones running Windows 7 Pro.
The Draftsight software installs and works perfectly well when logged on as the domain admin, when logged on as the user the software works correctly until you need to print.
When you try and set up a print profile you can get as far as naming it and choosing it settings, when you try and select it to make it active the Drafsight stops responding, and has to be forcefully closed. This also happens when you try to import a config made in another user profile.
The user in question is a network admin and has full rights on the PC in question.
The users on the network using Windows XP or Vista do not get this issue. With others users that do we have been able to work round it by setting up the printer config while logged in as the network admin, and then importing it into the other user accounts.
